Video Surveillance system in buses is developed but it is impossible to be directly connected.<br /><br />Our project LiveBus consists in being connected in live with buses by using wireless technologies: Wi-Fi and 3G+.<br /><br />But as we do not want to lose in quality, we established a program which determines the best wireless technology and format of encoding (Motion JPEG-2000 and MPEG 4) according to the environment that the bus is in and the network available.<br /><br />This project has been realized by engineering students in ECE-Paris during their second year of school and in relationship with Veolia Environnement Recherche & Innovation.
