Torch bearers recreate famous Chariots of Fire movie moment

A group of runners re-enacted the famous beach scene from the Oscar-winning film "Chariots of Fire" on the latest leg of the Olympic Torch relay in Scotland.<br/> <br />Thirteen-year old Joseph Forrester led a group of 20 students across St Andrews beach, where the famous sequence was filmed.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Joseph Forrester saying (English):<br/> <br />"It was amazing and I am still shocked that this many people came to see me run with it and I am just really happy they came. I only though there'd be like a few people here. There's quite a lot of people just come to see run, re-enacting that film Chariots of Fire."<br/> <br />"Chariots of Fire" won four Oscars in 1981. The film, about the true story of two British athletes in the 1924 Games, has been digitally re-mastered and will be re-released in cinemas in July, just in time for the London games.<br/> <br />Bob Mezan, Reuters.
