This is Lance Armstrong as he is best known - celebrating on the Tour De France podium after another success.<br/> <br />This win in 2005 was one of seven Tour de France titles that he picked up in an illustrious cycling career - but now all those awards are in jeopardy.<br/> <br />The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency notified Armstrong that it will file new charges against the retired cyclist.<br/> <br />Armstrong released a statement on his website strongly denying the accusations.<br/> <br />In it he said the "charges were baseless and motivated by spite".<br/> <br />Armstrong pointed out that these are the same charges previously brought against him which the Justice Department chose not to pursue after a two year investigation.<br/> <br />The 40 year old also added that he has passed more than 500 drug tests without failing a single one.<br/> <br />Simon Hanna, Reuters.
