ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Russell Brand is known for his comedic skills but he was upstaged by the Dalai Lama in the laughter stakes in Manchester on Saturday.<br/> <br />The Tibetan leader unexpectedly grabbed the beard of the "Rock of Ages" star, with Brand, caught in an awkward position, joked to the audience: "Not really a lot I can do in a situation like this. Just got to go with it."<br/> <br />The Dalai Lama is on a short British tour to share his beliefs in non-violence and compassion with young people.<br/> <br />He will travel to London, Edinburgh, Dundee, and Inverness, as well as meeting parliamentarians at Westminster and Holyrood.
