Hundreds of demonstrators filled the streets of Madrid Saturday to protest against Bankia, a nationalised bank requesting 19 billion euros in state aid.<br/> <br />Citizens banged pots and pans and held banners as they marched from Cuatro Caminos to the bank's headquarters.<br/> <br />Bankia is at the heart of Spain's banking crisis that forced the country to ask it's European neighbors for a 100 billion euro bailout.<br/> <br />The bank was nationalised less than a year after it was listed on the stock exchange.
