A country in mourning.<br/> <br />Saudi royals express their grief after Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz dies in Switzerland on Saturday following a long illness.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) PRINCE DR. MISHAAL BIN ABDULLAH BIN TURKI AL-SAUD, A HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST, SAYING:<br/> <br />"The death of His Royal Highness Prince Nayef is a loss for all humanity, he was one of the greatest men in the defence of homeland security and the stability of society in general. I believe that the whole house of Saudi feels orphaned on this night."<br/> <br />The Crown Prince, thought to be in his late 70s, began his political career early and was a staunch ally of conservative Wahhabi Muslim clerics.<br/> <br />He was also in charge of protecting Saudi Arabia from internal threats, particularly from Islamist militants.<br/> <br />Crown Prince Nayef is to be buried in the holy city of Mecca on Sunday.<br/> <br />Jessica Gray, Reuters
