The United States is planning to extend its military presence in Kuwait.<br /><br />The latest report from Congress said 15,000 US troops are already stationed in the tiny Gulf country.<br /><br />It said more troops are need to respond to sudden conflicts in the region.<br /><br />Iran, Iraq and the ability to keep oil flowing from Saudi Arabia are major concerns for the world's biggest economy.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports from Washington.
