On Wednesday the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades said Gaza's armed<br />groups are ready to end the current round of escalation, but the<br />rocket fire in Israel's South continues. Two rockets were fired from<br />the Hamas-ruled territory towards Ashkelon. One rocket was<br />intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system, while the second<br />rocket landed in an open area south of the city. Five more rockets<br />landed in the Negev's Eshkol Regional Council, totaling no less than<br />120 rockets over the last 3 days, including 70 on Wednesday. In order<br />to avoid an escalation, the IAF has decided not to respond to the<br />latest attacks.
