Mongolians vote on Thursday to elect a new parliament.<br /><br />One of its tasks will be to manage a rapidly expanding economy. A mining boom, spurred by foreign investors, has generated vast wealth. But little of the rewards are trickling down to the nation's poorest.<br /><br />The capital city, Ulaanbaatar, is ringed with slums, and for over a million people that have moved there in recent years, the search for a better life has proved a struggle.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Steve Chao reports from Bayansogt County, Mongolia.
