In the midst of a scandal, John Travolta and his wife, Kelly Preston were all smiles at the Los Angeles premiere of "Savages".<br/> <br />It was one of the few public appearances the actor has made following multiple allegations of sexual harassment from various male masseurs and a recent libel lawsuit.<br/> <br />But Travolta made sure the night was all about his work as he praised director Oliver Stone.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: John Travolta, actor, saying (English):<br/> <br />"He's strong because he wants you to do the best you can but, I like that so, I invited that feeling. But, also, I'm an old pro so I could give him what he needed. I'm a Chinese menu, tell me what you want and I'll give it to you. We got along great."<br/> <br />"Savages" follows the lives of two young American marijuana growers who find themselves battling a powerful Mexican drug-lord, played by Salma Hayek, after their girlfriend, portrayed by Blake Lively, is kidnapped.<br/> <br />After the gritty role, Lively enjoyed the stylish night out.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Blake Lively, actor, saying (English):<br/> <br />"It's thrilling to be here dressed up because this movie, I had to be tortured and covered in dirt the whole time, so it's nice to balance it with this."<br/> <br />Filling out the cast is Demian Bichir and Emile Hirsch.<br/> <br />The film hits U.S. theaters July 6.<br/> <br />Alicia Powell, Reuters.
