Victims of devastating flooding in Bangladesh wade through water to reach aid.<br/> <br />More than 100 people died and some 250,000 were left stranded by flash flooding and landslides last week, set off by record-breaking heavy rain.<br/> <br />Government authorities and aid organizations are distributing food, drinking water and medicine among survivors, who are slowly returning back to their flooded villages.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Bengali) LOCAL VILLAGER, SHAH ALI, SAYING:<br/> <br />"Our village was flooded and I took shelter in a high place and now I have returned to my village. Now I am surviving on these relief goods."<br/> <br />Most of the deaths were as a result of landslides, while others were caused by wall collapses, lightning strikes and surges of floodwater.<br/> <br />Sarah Sheffer, Reuters
