The captain of the wrecked Costa Concordia cruise liner Francesco Schettino has had his house arrest lifted. <br /><br />Pending his trial, he is now allowed out, but only within his home town of Meta di Sorrento near Naples.<br /><br />Schettino has been charged with multiple counts of manslaughter, causing the accident and abandoning the ship early.<br /><br />Thirty people died in the accident on January 13.<br />http://www.euronews.net/
