A parasite found in cat feces called Toxoplasma gondii has been linked to insanity in cat ladies, according to a recent study. <br /><br />Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/NMAtv<br />Webpage: http://www.nma.tv/<br />Twitter @nmatv: https://twitter.com/#!/nmatv<br />Tumblr: http://nmatv.tumblr.com/<br /><br />The study looked at 45,000 women in Denmark and found a predictive association between T. gondii infection and symptoms such as loneliness, hoarding, depression and suicide. <br /><br />The most disturbing finding was that women infected with T. gondii were more likely to commit suicide in a violent manner and were one-and-a-half times more likely to commit suicide in general than women who were not infected with the parasite.<br /><br />Coming into contact with cat feces isn't the only way people can become infected with Toxoplasma gondii.
