On 17 January 2012, the nuclear site of Cadarache (Bouches-du-Rhone) has been the subject of a major nuclear emergency exercise dimension seismic.<br />IRSN is also involved in the exercise, particularly in measuring of radioactivity in the environment that are performed after the damage to the facilities.
