TInsley Mortimer's debut novel gives readers a sneak peek into the lavish life of a southern girl, working in fashion PR in New York City. <br /><br />The main character, Minty Davenport moves to the big city upon graduating from college and is immersed in a totally different world. Tinsley was born in Virginia and can relate, “I’m from the south, moved to the city… so it parallels my life in a way…it was fun to do,” she said.
