Two kidnapped Libyan journalists return home to much celebration.<br/> <br />Misrata-based reporter-cameraman Abdelqadir Fassouk and cameraman Yusuf Badi went missing on July 7 covering Libya's historic national assembly elections.<br/> <br />They were working near Bani Walid, the stronghold of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.<br/> <br />Misrata was one of the first cities to join the revolt against Gaddafi and has a history of rivalry with Bani Walid.<br/> <br />Local media said the captors of the journalists demanded the release of detainees in Misrata in return for freeing them.<br/> <br />After an emotional greeting on the runway, their homecomings brought family members to tears.<br/> <br />Lindsey Parietti, Reuters
