Nelson Mandela will turn 94 on Wednesday.<br /><br />Despite a 67-year battle against social injustice, South Africans born in 1994, the year Mandela became the first democratically elected president, still face many challenges.<br /><br />The man South Africans call Madiba is credited with putting reconciliation and national unity at the top of his agenda when he became president.<br /><br />But, for the nation's overwhelming the poor majority, their high expectations remain unmet.<br /><br />Those turning 18 this year will enter the job market in a nation where one in four people are unemployed.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa reports from South Africa.
