Wildfires are sweeping across the Portuguese island of Madeira, with teams of over 100 people, including soldiers, battling to extinguish the flames. <br /><br />Some houses have been destroyed and a number of people have been evacuated. <br /><br />There are currently at least 14 wildfires across the Portuguese mainland.<br />http://www.euronews.net/
