'Dark Knight Rises' massacre, 12 shot dead in Colorado 'Batman' screening<br />The FBI is considering raising the national security level nationwide following the shooting.<br />The Paris premiere of 'The Dark Knight Rises' has already canceled due to tragic events in Colorado.<br /><br />A suspect gunman, James Holmes, 24, of Aurora, was caught by police outside Denver. He was wearing a gas mask, set off an unknown gas and fired into a crowded Colorado movie theatre at a midnight opening of the latest Batman movie, killing at least 12 people and wounding at least 50.<br />President Barack Obama said he was saddened by the "horrific and tragic shooting".<br />It was the worst mass shooting in Colorado since the Columbine High School massacre in 1999, where two students opened fire and killed 12 classmates and a teacher.
