According to workers, events turned violent at an Indian car factory when one of their colleagues was insulted. He was called a ‘dalit’ - which means a member of lower caste.<br /><br />Soon after, hundreds of workers armed with sticks and meal rods attacked their managers, before setting parts of the factory alight.
