Fighting has spread into another area crucial to the Syrian government.<br /><br />Neighbourhoods in and on the outskirts of Aleppo are the latest to be engulfed in conflict. <br /><br />Aleppo is a key bastion of the Assad clan. <br /><br />There's also been heavy fighting again in Homs, as <br /><br />Jane Ferguson reports.
