Thirty years on from the country's last -- and most brutal -- military coup, TURKEY is facing up to its past. <br /><br />More then 17 thousand extrajudicial killings. More than one thousand five hundred people still missing.<br /><br />The military granted themselves immunity from prosecution.<br /><br />One of the proposed constitutional amendments going to referendum on Sunday, lifts that protection.<br /><br />A survey in Turkey shows that nearly 6 out of every 10 voters will back constitutional changes proposed by the government. <br /><br />However the poll also showed that a good number remain undecided. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Anita McNaught reports from Ankara.
