At least 200 children in Nigeria have died of lead poisoning, while another 18,000 people may be affected.<br /><br />Women and children came into contact with such lethal levels of lead from the mining for gold in their villages.<br /><br /> The United Nations has sent an emergency team of scientists to Nigeria to investigate this deadly outbreak.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Yvonne Ndege reports from Abuja, Nigeria's capital city.
