Thursday, October 7 was the ninth anniversary of the beginning of the US war in Afghanistan. <br /><br />Marking the event at the US Capitol building in Washington DC, a small group of military veterans have launched a campaign to end the practice of sending traumatised troops back into the battlefield.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Josh Rushing reports.
