Many former reservoir workers in Hungary are blaming authorities for a dam's wall breach that unleashed a flood of deadly toxic waste into several villages and major waterways last Monday. <br /><br />They say the aluminum plant's reservoir had been in a dangerous state for decades and accuse the authorities of refusing to modernise it.<br /><br />The red sludge spill killed seven people and injured 123 others as it destroyed many houses. Thousands of residents were evacuated from homes in the west of the country. <br /><br />Anita McNaught reports from western Hungary.
