Native Americans overwhelmingly voted for Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential election.<br /><br />That support was due in part to his campaign promises to improve reservation life.<br /><br />But many Native Americans are still looking for guarantees on land and water rights, in addition to Obama's signature on the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds reports from the Navajo Nation, a semi-autonomous Native American-governed territory, in Monument Valley, Utah.
