Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president, is calling for calm after long-awaited election results were finally released on Wednesday. <br /><br />Almost a quarter of all votes have been cancelled and 24 candidates disqualified because of widespread fraud allegations since the elections have been held in September. <br /><br />Critics say the results show the system is fundamentally flawed.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Sue Turton reports from Kabul.
