Hungary has assumed the 6-month rotating presidency of the EU, on the same day that controversial new media reforms come into effect in the country, raising questions about its suitability for the post.<br /><br />The country has taken the post at a particularly delicate time, with its top priority being helping to resolve the EU debt crisis.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Paul Brennan reports.
