Amid the pain and misery in the moments after Haiti's magnitude 7.0 quake a year ago, a few incredible rescues lifted the spirits of many Haitians.<br /><br />Al Jazeera reported on the story of one survivor, Nixon. He was just four when the quake struck the Caribbean nation on January 12, 2010.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Gordon Durnin, who was there when Nixon was first pulled out of the rubble, tracked down the little boy to a refugee camp where he has been living since the disaster, and who has become a symbol of hope for those around him.
