Michele Alliot-Marie, the French foreign minister has received an unwelcome reception in the Palestinian enclave over falsely attributed comments.<br /><br />Demonstrators mobbed Michele Alliot-Marie's car and at one point it was reportedly pelted with eggs and shoes.<br /><br />They were reacting to reports that she had said the capture by Hamas of Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier who is also a French national, was a war crime.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nicole Johnston reports.
