Anti-government fighters in the western Libyan town of Az Zawiyah have fought off forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi, the Libyan president, pushing them from the town.<br /><br />But the limited effectiveness of Gadaffi's forces and the overall disorganisation of the rebels have led largely to a stalemate situation.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports.
