The US is investigating an air traffic controller who slept as planes landed in Washington.<br /><br />The country's aviation chief said he was "outraged" after the employee fell asleep on the job, leaving planes to land<br />in the capital without airport guidance.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Monica Villamizar reports from Washington.
