Hundreds of armed men took control of Jaar and several nearby areas in Abyan province in southern Yemen.<br /><br />The armed group has been touring the town in military vehicles and carrying weapons captured from a nearby arms factory that was looted on Sunday. <br /><br />The town has witnessed heavy clashes between rival armed groups on Sunday.
