On July 9 South Sudan will become a brand new nation having recently voted for independence from the North. <br /><br />Officials are hoping to invest in local agriculture as a way of building the economy, but first they will have to clear away the landmines left behind by years of civil war.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa reports from Central Equatoria state on some of the challenges facing the new nation.
