Many Libyan women left their husbands and brothers behind in Ajdabiya to fight against Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.<br /><br />Some of them who fled to Benghazi described how Gaddafi's troops kidnapped children and the elderly to be used as human shields.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Sue Turton reports.
