Nigeria's president says next week's governor elections will go ahead as planned, despite deadly riots in the north of the country.<br /><br />Post election violence in the predominantly Muslim North has left at least 200 people dead. <br /><br />Goodluck Jonathan, the president, said on Thursday that calm is being restored to the region.<br /><br />Yvonne Ndege reports.
