Across Yemen, thousands of protesters have been rallying in the streets to demand the resignation of the president.<br /><br />In the Capital Sanaa, the industrial centre of Taiz, and the Red Sea port city of Hudaida, Yemeni forces opened fire on the crowds.<br /><br />Nine people were killed and dozens more were injured.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Stefanie Dekker reports.
