A tense standoff is continuing In western Kazakhstan between fired workers at the state oil company and authorities.<br /><br />Workers say KazMunaiGas owes them danger money that they are refusing to pay.<br /><br />Police broke up previous demonstrations in May and KazMunaiGas fired about 2,000 employees, but that has not deterred protesters to<br />maintain their call for justice<br /><br />Robin Forestier-Walker reports from Zhanaozen.
