The 20 Bahraini medics on trial for allegedly inciting anti-government protests during the kingdom's bout with the Arab Spring will have their retrial adjourned until January 9.<br /><br />The doctors, nurses, and paramedics were initially tried and convicted in the military-run National Safety Court on September 28 on a number of charges, including incitement to overthrow the government. <br /><br />They were given sentences ranging from five to 15 years each.<br /><br />However, the prosecution dropped confessions taken under duress and introduced new evidence against the defendants - necessitating a new trial.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Mohamed Vall reports from Manama.<br /><br />Read the article: http://aje.me/s8TCEw
