Al Jazeera has been following a Mexican family that moved to Veracruz state in the hope of escaping drug-related crimes.<br /><br />Their story forms part of a series on how ordinary families have been affected by some of the most harrowing events this year.<br /><br />Meanwhile, in what is being seen as a major victory for Felipe Calderon, the Mexican president, the Mexican army says it has captured the head of security for one of the world's most wanted men.<br /><br />The suspect, who has not been identified, allegedly works for Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, the boss of Mexico's Sinaloa drug cartel who escaped from prison in 2001.<br /><br />An army spokesman said the suspect would appear in front of the media on Monday.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rachel Levin reports from Veracruz.
