Fisherman takes on state in fight for rights

A fisherman in Hong Kong has appeared in court as part of a battle to defend his way of life.<br /><br />Now the case of Mo Chun Kau is being seen as a test of how well Hong Kong's legal system is doing, to protect human rights.<br /><br />For generations families have been living off the waters of Peng Chau island but after the area was declared a marine park the by-laws were changed.<br /><br />The case for one man's right to fish has caught the attention of Hong Kong's legal community.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rob McBride has the story from Hong Kong.
