The forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad have been reportedly bombarding al-Qusair, a town close to the Lebanese border, for months.<br /><br />The death toll in the Homs town continues to mount and the injured suffer from poor medical care due to shortages in paramedics and medical supplies.<br /><br />Most buildings in Qusair have been damaged by the shelling. Even the mosques have not been spared, activists say.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Jamal El-Shayyal reports.
