International envoy, Kofi Annan, says the UN's 300 monitors must be deployed in Syria as soon as possible.<br /><br />Annan says the continuing violence is "unacceptable".<br /><br />He and other diplomats have urged the Assad government to respect a two week old ceasefire.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Steve Chao reports.
