Students in the Canadian province of Quebec have been protesting against a government move to raise higher education costs by 50 per cent for three months.<br /><br />The Quebec government has now offered a compromise but the dispute remains unsettled as students are not accepting compromise with any tuition increase.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Daniel Lak reports.
