It is exactly two years until the 2014 FIFA World Cup kicks off in Brazil.<br /><br />The government has an ambitious plan for 12 host cities across the country. But preparations, from building stadiums to expanding airports, have been slow.<br /><br />Five per cent of the projects have been finished, 41 per cent have not yet been started, and 75 per cent of the stadiums [8 of 12] are not even half way complete.<br /><br />But then some in Brazil feel that while the pace of construction has been slow, things will work out in the end<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo went to two of the host cities to see how they are getting on.
