Al Jazeera has been allowed to report from Syria again after being banned along with other foreign news outlets amid a popular uprising that has continued since March. <br /><br />However, the network's correspondents are only allowed to film in the country while accompanied by a government escort.<br /><br />The district of Douma in Damascus, the capital, was one of the first to see mass anti-government protests.<br /><br />Rula Amin reports from the district, where protesters have continued to take to the streets along with many others across the country despite a brutal military crackdown.
