People in the Horn of Africa are suffering from the worst drought in more than half a century.<br /><br />Among the worst hit countries is Somalia, where the situation is now threatening millions of lives.<br /><br />The United Nations Children's Fund says up to 300,000 malnourished children are at risk of dying in the country.<br /><br />Aid agencies have estimated that $1bn is needed, but only a fraction has been donated so far.<br /><br />Catherine Soi reports from Turkana in northern Kenya while Peter Greste reports from the Dolo Ado refugee transit camp in eastern Ethiopia.
