International condemnation of Syria's violent actions in Hama and other cities has been swift, but NATO has ruled out any intervention to stop the violence.<br /><br />Turkey and Russia, both close allies of the country's president, led the criticism, with Britain calling for concerted action by the United Nations.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Harry Smith reports.
