The new head of the International Monetary Fund is to be investigated over her alleged role in a controversial French tax case.<br /> <br />Christine Lagarde is said to have approved a payment of $406M to a businessman to settle his legal battle with a state owned bank.<br /> <br />Al Jazeera's Jacky Rowland reports from Paris.
