Syria has continued its crackdown on protesters, with a series of arrests in the capital Damascus.<br /><br />Electricity was cut off overnight in the capital, and homes raided in a mainly Kurdish area.<br /><br />State television has been airing images of troops withdrawing from the city of Latakia, however activists dispute such claims.<br /><br />Ahmed Davutoglu, Turkish foreign minister, says that the Syrian army is still in key towns.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nisreen el-Shamayleh reports from Ramtha at the Jordan-Syria border.
